Adam S. Fisch, MD, PhD, is an assistant in pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital and instructor at Harvard Medical School. Following the completion of his medical degree and doctorate in the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Maryland, he completed his anatomic pathology residency as well as head and neck/endocrine pathology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as the Harvard-wide molecular genetic pathology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. His clinical and research interests are in assay development and the use of molecular techniques combined with histomorphology to develop new diagnostic markers and advance therapeutic target discovery in tumors of the head and neck.
