Mine Yilmaz, MD, is a Molecular Genetic Pathology fellow in the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at Columbia University Medical Center. She completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Columbia University Medical Center which was followed by a fellowship training in Breast Pathology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center prior to her Molecular Genetic Pathology fellowship. She worked on leptin induced JAK-STAT signaling at Brigham and Women's Hospital as postdoctoral fellow and studied on developing diagnostic assay for endometriosis at Robert S. Boas Genomics and Human Genetics Center. Her interests include translational research in cancer genomics and molecular mechanisms of breast cancers.
