    Chihoon Ahn, MD, PhD

    I am from South Korea where I spent most of my life. My research has been in the field of protein engineering, which encompasses protein design and biophysical characterization, recombinant protein production and functional characterization. After many years in academic and industrial research, I started medical school and earned my MD degree from St. George's University School of Medicine, Grenada. I am currently a PGY-3 pathology resident at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX.
