Dr. Williams is an Associate Professor of Pathology at University of Virginia School of Medicine and Director of the Clinical Genomics Laboratory for UVA Health. He is an ABMGG-board certified laboratory geneticist who completed his Clinical Cytogenetics and Clinical Molecular Genetics fellowships at Emory University. He received his Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Colorado State University, where he studied the role of telomeres in maintaining genomic stability.
