Dr. Yuan Ji is an Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She received her PhD in Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where she further completed her NIH-T32 Clinical Pharmacology Fellowship and an ABMGG fellowship in Clinical Molecular Genetics. Dr. Ji is board-certified in both Clinical Pharmacology and Medical Genetics and Genomics. At ARUP Laboratories, Dr. Ji is a Medical Director of Molecular Genetics and Genomics and co-oversees areas related to the inherited genetics testing. Her clinical and research interests include clinical pharmacogenomic testing, genetics related to reproductive and women's health. Dr. Ji serves on several professional committees including the ACMG Membership Committee and the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) Standardization of Pharmacogenetic Alleles (PGx) Working Group. She has co-authored several instrumental clinical guidelines for clinical pharmacogenomic testing and implementation.
