Dr. Rowland Pettit is a physician-scientist and second-year clinical pathology resident at Mass General Brigham and Harvard Medical School. He will be completing a molecular genetic pathology fellowship at Mass General Brigham in 2025-2026. Dr. Pettit earned his MD and PhD from Baylor College of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His doctoral research focused on advanced statistical genetics methods to study the genetic architecture of complex diseases, with an emphasis on lung cancer. Dr. Pettit's current work involves leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning approaches to enhance diagnostic capabilities in pathology. He has a particular interest in molecular genetics, immunology, and developing AI-driven clinical solutions.
