Sam Harvey is currently a PGY-4 AP/CP pathology resident at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and will complete a Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins during the 2025-2026 academic year. He earned his MD PhD from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. He has a background in traditional molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics with a focus on next-generation sequencing. His professional interests including molecular and digital pathology, pathology informatics, and healthcare policy/regulation in the molecular pathology space. He has served as a junior member on both the AMP Clinical Practice and Professional Relations Committees and is a member of the Liquid Biopsy Clinical Validation Working Group.
