Dr. Stephanie Siegmund is an attending pathologist at the Brigham & Women's Hospital / Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. Her clinical responsibilities at BWH include Genitourinary Pathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology (Solid Tumor), and her research focus is on the utilization of molecular testing across Genitourinary Pathology to improve diagnosis and prognostication. While her particular interest lies in testicular tumors, she is also interested in GU as a field and has ongoing work in kidney, bladder and prostate tumors. Besides clinical signout, her roles include serving as the Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellowship's Site Director for BWH's Center for Advanced Diagnostics. Prior to joining the faculty at BWH, Dr. Siegmund completed medical school and graduate school at Columbia University in New York, where her PhD thesis project focused on mitochondrial genetics. She then completed her Anatomic Pathology residency with fellowships in Genitourinary Pathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology at BWH.
