Brian Sworder, MD-PhD is an Assistant Professor in Residence at The University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. As a physician-scientist, Dr. Sworder’s research is laboratory focused on using novel molecular tools, such as cell-free DNA (cfDNA) analysis, to profile mechanisms of response and resistance to immune based therapies in lymphoma. Clinically, Dr. Sworder cares for patients with B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Prior to joining the faculty at UCI, Dr. Sworder completed his clinical fellowship in hematology and oncology at Stanford University, where he was also a postdoctoral fellow and Instructor in the laboratory of Ash A. Alizadeh, MD-PhD.
