AI-based selection of tumor regions for molecular analysis will provide samples with higher tumor cellularity, improving the sensitivity and reliability of molecular tests. To take full advantage current manual macro-dissection must be replaced by a fully digital, automated process.
Xyall has introduced the Tissector solution that provides full integration from AI-based selection to automatic dissection. The selected regions are automatically mapped and dissected by a scraping robot with high precision. The quality of dissection is monitored using digital pre- and post-dissection images to have full traceability of samples going into the molecular workup.
